The four measurements that matter: case, lug, thickness and strap.
01 · Case Diameter
Measure the case, not the bezel.
Measured across the case, excluding the crown. Dress watches sit at 34–38mm; everyday models at 38–40mm; sports and dive cases run 40–44mm.
02 · Lug Width
Where the strap meets the case.
Measured between the inner lug faces. Straps must match exactly common sizes are 18, 20, 22 and 24mm.
03 · Thickness
Total profile, crystal to caseback.
Crystal top to caseback. Slim dress watches sit under 9mm; sports watches run 11–14mm.
04 · Strap Length
Measured for the wrist.
Lug to lug over the buckle. Match wrist circumference plus 25mm.
